Guided Tour- Part 1:
Exploring the Hoover Dam

The tour bus picked up at 5:00 am from our Hotel in Las Vegas. We decided for the first time in our travels, to take a group tour and not doing the driving, the planning or the logistics ourselves.
It was challenging for me, but totally
worth it.

On the way to Hoover Dam, we stopped in this beautiful valley, where we observed very peaceful bighorn sheep around us. Our guide suggested taking some time to admire the surroundings and stretch our legs from the long trip, so we did.

Some short time after, we arrived at the Hoover Dam. The size is huge, and it’s impressive to see how it stretches across the Colorado River. Walking on top, we were amazed by the view of the lake and the surrounding desert. Inside, we saw tunnels and turbines that show how the dam generates electricity for whole cities and its inhabitants.
This visit left us feeling truly inspired by this incredible engineering marvel.

Visited many years ago and it was awesome, thanks for the flashback
in the summer months that trip is too hot to do, better in winter
