Top 5 Must-Do Experiences in A Day
Our day began early—as we usually do when traveling—and the first thing we did was look for a pleasant spot to enjoy an espresso. Since we had planned a very comprehensive itinerary to tour the city and buy some souvenirs to take home, we wanted to make the most of our time at every stop.
1. Drink Your Morning Coffee Admiring Les Murs Peints
Right in the heart of the city, there is a famous street corner with a painted 'cinema mural' featuring famous characters from movies, performances and shows over the years, truly a must see in Cannes. Right around it, there are a few bars and restaurants who offer a wide diversity of dishes, desserts and snacks.
It is very nice to drink our morning coffee with this view and the memories of all the characters shown there.
2. Take a Tour to See the Coastline and Beaches
Next on our itinerary were the port and the incredible excursions we had heard so much about in this city. The variety of tours and experiences available here is truly astonishing.
We love the half-day tours that run along the coast, allowing us to enjoy the views and the blue waters of Cannes.

3. Buy a Nice Souvenir to Take Home
We found very few people that spoke English; even at the tourist information office, the lady had some difficulty communicating with us. Nevertheless, we managed to obtain the information we were looking for, both regarding the tours and the city in general.
The touristic part of Cannes is not very big, so we were able to walk around and see the stores, restaurants and parks on the same day. There are plenty of souvenirs to take home and we of course selected some 🙂

4. Enjoy a Crepe at Promenade de la Pantiero
Crepes are famous in the whole world, and we usually try to make them at home, of course never like the original ones. So, we really had to try a nice crepe in Cannes. Right in the city center there is a boulevard called Promenade de la Pantiero, and there we found this nice friend who made the best Crepe for us with Nutella. You really have to try this!
5. Relax on the Crystal-Clear Beaches
And there was the beach... so beautiful! Right at the end of our itinerary, we took the time to lounge by the sparkling, crystal-clear water, feeling the warm sun and gentle sea breeze. Along the iconic boulevard, we immersed ourselves in the stylish ambiance of Cannes, repeatedly saying to each other, "We have to come back and spend more time."
This city offers a perfect blend of luxury, culture, and natural beauty. Whether you're interested in film, fashion, or simply enjoying beautiful scenery, Cannes has something special for every traveler.
