Renting a Car in Las Vegas: YES or NO ?
Our stay in Vegas was great, we wanted a romantic weekend with adventure and fun, and we had it!
We selected a flight that arrived in LAS airport very early in the morning, so we went to the hotel to check in and immediately out to start visiting.

For convenience, we stayed at the Bellagio hotel, which is on the Strip. The taxi from the airport to the hotel was about USD 12.00 and took about 15 minutes only.
On this trip, we realized something: you do not need to rent a car in Las Vegas if your plans involve visiting the most famous attractions on the Strip. In fact, having to park at each hotel you visit becomes a hassle, as many charge for valet parking even if you are only parking for an hour.
Now, if your trip involves out of state tours, maybe it will be a good option if you don't mind driving for hours. It all depends on what is your itinerary and schedules, but only to visit the major attractions in Vegas, you certainly don't need it.

We visited all the hotels and attractions on the Strip, and we definitely fared better without a car. We speak from experience, having rented a vehicle and driven around the area on a previous trip to Las Vegas; that’s why things were much more relaxed this time—not having to worry about the car allowed us to focus more on our plans and itinerary.

Trying to rent a car outside the airport may result in limited availability and cause delays to your travel plans, so we recommend getting it at the airport when you arrive and dropping it back in the airport when you are leaving. This small tip will organize your trip ahead of time and have it all planned for the perfect trip to Vegas!
