Bacvice Beach, Split: A Beautiful Free Beach
Near the Cruise Port
During our recent summer cruise, we had the opportunity to visit Split, Croatia. We were looking for a beautiful beach where we could relax, swim, and enjoy the Mediterranean sunshine without spending a fortune.
What we discovered was even better than expected!
From the cruise terminal, we walked for approximately 12 minutes before arriving to Bacvice Beach, a beautiful public beach with crystal-clear water.
The best part? Beach admission was completely free!
The weather was perfect, the sea was refreshing, and the water was so clear that we could easily see the rocks beneath the surface.
It was exactly the kind of relaxing experience we were hoping to enjoy during our cruise stop.

Beach Clubs and Affordable Rentals
Although the beach was free to enter, we also found several beach clubs offering additional comfort. One of the options available during our visit was a set of two lounge chairs and an umbrella for approximately $40 for the entire day.
We thought this was a very reasonable price for travelers who wanted to spend several hours enjoying the beach.
Of course, renting chairs was optional. Visitors could also enjoy the public beach without paying an entrance fee.

Everything You Need for a Relaxing Beach Day
Another thing we appreciated was how convenient the area was.
We found several useful facilities and services nearby:

-> Food kiosks and snack options
-> Drinks and refreshments
-> Beach clubs with lounge chairs and umbrellas
-> Water sports rentals
Having these options nearby made it easy to enjoy the beach without having to travel far from the cruise port.

Our Favorite Part of the Experience
For us, the highlight was simply enjoying the beautiful Croatian coastline together.
The sea was incredibly clear, the weather was wonderful, and the atmosphere was relaxing.
Sometimes, the most memorable travel experiences are also the simplest.
We didn't need an expensive excursion or a complicated itinerary to enjoy our day in Split.
Just a short walk, a beautiful beach, and the opportunity to experience another wonderful Mediterranean destination.
